Petrolia and Waterpark

The family visited Blase, Jen and their two daughters Ossian and Nola recently and had an excellent time. I have totally fallen in love with Petrolia, which is so pristine and remote that it reminds you of what California must have been like long ago. Above is Violet at a blueberry farm, where you could pick your own berries. With the extensive sampling that we conducted, I don't think the farm made much money on us.
Here we have Violet and Ossian in the bike trailer. Papa Justin pulled them down to the river where we went swimming.

Violet and Ossian once again, this time hiding from the parents on the front deck of Blase and Jen's great house.
Here we have Violet at her new favorite spot- the aquatic park in San Leandro. It is essentially a tot lot in the water- lots of fun and a public facility, which is cool and affordable.

Here is Justin and Violet adventuring into the water together.
It didn't take Violet long to get in the swing of it. Here she is playing with one of the fountains. She was also bravely making it down a baby waterslide (on my lap, of course. )
