Visit to Roshambo Winery

I know what it looks like, but rest assured: we drank plenty of wine before we became parents. And, yes, perhaps a fieldtrip to an alcohol production facility is not at the top of every child's list, but, Violet is a Californian, and basically a yuppie at that, so a knowledge of wine is essential. Considering the drinking age is 21 in California, I'm sure wine-related activity will help Violet stand out on any college application.

Anyway, we visited Rosahmbo Winery, near Healdsburg. Good wine in a fun environment, and we even joined their wine club (it's so much easier to have wine delivered to your door when you're juggling work and family). The best thing about the trip, however, were these two photos, which are classic.
